What types of leather can your workshop source and craft?
We can work with a wide range of materials: standard calf leathers (Epsom, Saffiano, Swift, Swiss calf), premium leathers (Shell Cordovan, Museum Calf), and exotics (Alligator, Lizard, Python, especially Stingray). We source directly from leading tanneries such as Haas, D'Annonay, Horween, Shinki, and partners in Italy.
How do you ensure consistent thickness (±0.1mm) across the whole order?
We use an Italian Camoga skiving machine with high precision. During production, artisans check thickness with electronic calipers at three points on each strap, especially at the lug end.
Are products tested for salt spray and artificial sweat resistance?
Yes. We test edge paint and 316L hardware with simulated sweat and salt spray. Our Italian Fenice edge paint resists peeling after 48 hours of continuous testing.
Why is LUXOR considered a stingray leather specialist?
We have dedicated calcium-sanding tools and a special hand-stitching technique that makes the stitch line on stingray leather extremely sharp and durable.
